“In August 2024 I started working on a new series of sculptures which I have called The Representatives. These were inspired by my Moroccan sketchbooks which contain drawings of people in markets, travelers, and nomads on the move, in harsh landscapes. These large garden pieces are approx. 175cms tall.

They are made in very specific but different coloured clays which are fired to a high temperature (1250c) which fully vitrifies the clay rendering it completely waterproof and therefore suitable for garden installation. Although they are shown in stoneware, they can also be cast in bronze, “
